There’s no place like home…

Boy oh Boy, I surely do miss Brooklyn.

You see, I had to leave my cozy little apartment due to legal litigation with the landlord; obviously he won (only because we had no lawyer) and was able to probably raise the rent to four times what we were paying… More on this sad story another time.

I decided to write this blog for a few reasons:

  • I am incensed with the Brooklyn Housing Court system
  • Although I am all for gentrification, there still needs to be a common respect for the middle class earners who presently can’t afford rents as high as $1100.00 for a sweat box known as a Studio apartment.
  • I’m tired of seeing all these condos and the like taking over lots that the city can utilize to provide more reasonable housing for middle class families
  • I’m tired of the shiester slumlords getting over and being able to do as they feel while collecting rent every month

As you can tell, I’ve got quite allot to say. I’m by no means an expert on any of the above mentioned, but there needs to be a much bigger uprising against these landlords and the like who are making it difficult for tenants.
