Are there any left?

$1800.00 USD for a freaking one bedroom in BUSHWICK!  BUSHWICK, who wants to pay that amount of money to live in BUSHWICK!?

Are there any affordable apartments left? When I say affordable, I mean something less than $1000.00 and big enough for one person and a TV to fit in.  I’m so amazed at the turn over of Rent Stabilized apartments in Brooklyn and I’m even more amazed at how easy it is for these sheister landlords to get honest rent paying tenants out of these apartments.

I mean, I never knew the extent of greed these bitches would go to in order to get out a tenant. The  landlords, courts and these goddamn judges are insideous cretons! They should all burn in hell for what they’re doing to law abiding tenants.

“Gentrification” is killing off all the few places available for middle income people to live. If you’re a single person, you now have to have a freaking roomate in a five bedroom apartment in order to live in a semi-decent place. What kind of shit is that!?

I’m soo beyond pissed I can’t even sum it up in words.

I’ve seen so many people including myself, end up in tenant landlord court and loose all because I couldn’t afford an attorney who could wrangle the legal menutia.  And for that reason, I have vowed to make my former landlord pay.  I’m in the process of diggin up soooo much illicit dirt on this scumbag it’s going to be a pleasure to make his head spin.

 

 

 

Real World my A**!

I’ve watched the MTV “reality” show, The Real World, since its first New York airing wayyy back in the 90’s. So much has changed with the show and more importantly so much has changed with New York on a whole. So now Brooklyn has the pleasure (depending on who you ask) of hosting these Seven Strangers in a six million dollar loft somewhere downtown. Just freaking great.

If this isn’t a sign that Brooklyn’s gone to hell in a luxury hand basket, then I don’t know what is. 

Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that Brooklyn is getting the exposure but this is now entering the OVER EXPOSURE phase of things and I’m really not digging it at all.

Now I get why in past seasons people used to heckle the cast of Seven Strangers.

Looks like those damn retched Manhattan transplants aren’t the only things shaking up Park Slope.

My favorite little sex shop,Babeland, is coming to Fifth Ave…Yippie. They open doors this Thursday and it’s presence has created mixed feelings in the neighborhood.  Neatly adjacent next to a maternity shop and down the block from a local kids boutique, I couldn’t be happier.

If you think about it, you need the sex shop to get you in the mood, which then leads to the spicy evening which will land you in maternity clothes than will eventually turn into you needing kids clothes. So you see, everything comes full circle.
